Senior Executive – Procurement

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive – Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement operations, with a focus on biomedical equipment. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of relevant experience, strong vendor management skills, and a thorough understanding of procurement workflows in a healthcare or hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition to delivery for biomedical equipment and related items.

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, finance, stores, etc.) to ensure procurement aligns with operational requirements.

• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor lists, and procurement reports.

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstocking.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.

• Continuously evaluate market trends and recommend improvements in procurement strategies.

• Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or payment disputes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or any relevant discipline (biomedical preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare/biomedical sector.

• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes and supply chain management.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems.

• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
