Reshma P. D. has been the Academic Lead for Cyrix Academy since 2023. Prior to this role, Reshma served as Assistant Professor at Sengunthar College of Engineering specialising in bio-medical engineering education. Reshma has worked as a bio-medical engineer in several hospitals as well as bio-medical industry helping maintain and manage medical equipment. Reshma has 7 years of combined experience and holds a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in Bio-medical Engineering. Reshma’s passion for teaching and field experience combined with academic expertise can benefit students immensely.
Alex Eapen is an expert on the installation and maintenance of a variety of MRI, X-ray and Ultrasound imaging systems as well as surgical units C-Arms, Cathlabs etc. Alex comes with 44+ years of field experience installing and maintaining a variety of medical devices for GE Health in India and South Asia. Alex has been a biomedical equipment maintenance trainer for over 20 years and has upskilled hundreds of bio-med engineers / technicians who are today working in leading healthcare and Corporate hospitals.
Sarath K. B. is a specialist trainer in calibration medical equipment and an AERB certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). Sarath is a bio-medical engineer with 13 years of experience in managing large scale healthcare projects. Sarath is an active trainer for Government healthcare personnel on radiation safety protocols. Sarath is a trainer at Cyrix Academy and has trained students in biomedical engineering, combining technical proficiency with strong instructional skills. His leadership experience in managing technical teams highlights his capability in handling one of the most critical aspects of biomedical engineering—effective team coordination and operational management.
Anit V. is a full-time trainer at Cyrix Academy and comes with 5 years of experience in teaching bio-medical maintenance and electronics. Anit has a strong foundation in electronics and is professionally trained in maintaining bio-medical equipment. Her combined expertise of field experience and academic expertise helps simplify complex concepts for the students. Anit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s degree in communication Engineering.
Tincy K. Mariam brings over 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Regulatory Affairs within the healthcare and biomedical sectors. She is a certified internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, and ISO 17025:2017, and is also an AERB-certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
Sibi Joseph brings a wealth of experience in reviving medical equipment through board-level electronics repair and a deep understanding of electronic circuit analysis and hardware troubleshooting. Sibi’s specialization in repairing main boards and 15+ years of field experience and training help students in converting theoretical knowledge of electronics repair to practical, hands-on experience, diagnostic techniques, and field applications.
Amil Mohammed P. S. is a full-time trainer at Cyrix Academy specializing in teaching maintenance and troubleshooting of critical care equipment such as ICU and NICU equipment. Amil is a qualified Biomedical Engineer
Nandhana Prasad is full time trainer at Cyrix Academy with expertise in clinical applications training for laboratory equipment and imaging equipment including Computed Tomography (CT) and Ultrasound (USG) systems. She possesses strong knowledge in ultrasound applications and is well-versed in the practical and clinical aspects of these devices. In addition, Nandhana has experience in technical documentation, ensuring accurate and organized reporting in line with industry standards.
