Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Dental Specialist who has hands-on experience in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining dental equipment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of dental machines, minimizing downtime, and supporting dental procedures through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection, and maintenance of dental equipment such as dental chairs, compressors, suction units, RVG, X-ray units, autoclaves, and handpieces.
Diagnose and repair faults in dental machines and instruments.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Coordinate with dentists and clinic staff for equipment-related support.
Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and hygiene standards.
Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for spare parts and technical support.
Train clinic staff on basic operation and daily care of dental equipment.
Support audits and inspections related to equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Dental Technology, Electronics, or related field
ITI (Electronics / Electrical) with relevant experience can also be considered
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in handling and repairing dental equipment (clinic or hospital setup preferred).
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of dental machines and instruments
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Understanding of safety and infection control standards
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to travel if required
Preferred Requirements
Experience with multi-chair dental clinics or hospital dental departments
OEM / service background will be an added advantage
