ICU / OT / Critical Care Specialist

Role Overview

Cyrix Health Care Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a technically strong ICU / OT / Critical Care Specialist to manage installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of life-saving biomedical equipment used in Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, and emergency/critical care departments across Rajasthan.

Key Responsibilities

ICU Equipment

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICU devices such as ventilators, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, and multi-parameter monitors.

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of all critical care equipment.

• Ensure continuous uptime of life-support machines and provide immediate technical support during equipment failure.

OT (Operation Theatre) Equipment

• Handle service and maintenance of anaesthesia workstations, OT tables, cautery machines, lights, suction systems, etc.

• Ensure periodic safety checks, functionality testing, and sterilization compliance support.

• Troubleshoot OT equipment errors and coordinate repairs with OEMs/vendor partners.

Critical Care Responsibilities

• Support emergency care areas with rapid problem resolution and real-time technical guidance.

• Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to biomedical safety, electrical safety, and infection-control protocols.

• Maintain logs, service reports, calibration certificates, and equipment history data.

• Train ICU/OT nursing and clinical staff on proper handling & safety usage of biomedical equipment.

General Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hospital teams, OEM engineers, and internal technical staff.

• Ensure compliance with NABH standards and biomedical regulatory guidelines.

• Travel to various project sites across Rajasthan as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.

• 6-10 years of experience in ICU/OT/Critical Care equipment servicing.

• Strong technical knowledge of life-saving biomedical instruments.

• Ability to read equipment manuals, troubleshoot complex technical faults, and perform routine calibration.
