India Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Radiology Specialist with strong knowledge of biomedical and radiology equipment. The candidate will be responsible for installation, operation support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radiology systems to ensure smooth and safe functioning in hospitals or diagnostic centres.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of radiology equipment such as X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, CR, DR, and other imaging systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick resolution to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with doctors, radiologists, and hospital staff for technical support.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, radiation norms, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain service records, logs, and documentation.
Train hospital staff on basic operation and safety of radiology equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for spare parts and service support.
Support audits, inspections, and quality checks related to radiology equipment.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in handling radiology equipment (hospital/diagnostic setup preferred)
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of radiology and imaging systems
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of radiation safety and compliance norms
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Willingness to travel if required
Preferred Requirements
Experience in multi-location hospital projects
OEM or service background will be an added advantage
