Ajith Kumar S is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Cyrix Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., a ₹320 crore ($3.36 million USD) medical technology management company focused on ensuring the reliability and uptime of healthcare technologies at scale.
At Cyrix, Ajith leads an organization of 1200+ professionals delivering end-to-end maintenance, lifecycle management, sourcing, and technical support solutions across hospitals and healthcare systems. Under his leadership, Cyrix has evolved into a comprehensive medical technology ecosystem, enabling healthcare providers to operate more efficiently and deliver uninterrupted patient care.
Together with his co-founder Joy K John, Ajith built Cyrix on the foundational idea of “One Ecosystem. One Partner. Total Responsibility.” — a unified approach that allows hospitals and healthcare systems to manage all medical technologies through a single accountable partner, across brands and lifecycle stages.
A biomedical engineer by training, Ajith began his career servicing equipment within a single OEM ecosystem. Recognizing the limitations of fragmented service models, he played a key role in building Cyrix into a multi-OEM, multi-technology platform, supporting over 6000 types of medical technologies from manufacturers worldwide.
Since its inception in 2004, Cyrix has grown from a ₹5,000,000 startup ($52,884 USD) to a ₹320 crore($3.36 million USD) organization, with operations across India and an expanding international presence in the Middle East. Today, the company serves 25,000+ hospitals and healthcare facilities and manages over 550,000 medical devices, delivering consistently high uptime across systems.
Ajith is a qualified medical electronics engineer and a certified graduate of the Senior Management Programme from IIM Calcutta. His leadership is defined by a strong focus on execution, operational discipline, and building high-performance teams.

Pratheesh Joseph joined Cyrix Healthcare Pvt Ltd. as Executive Director in 2009 and has been a key driver of the company’s growth, operational excellence, and organizational scale.
At Cyrix, Pratheesh plays a critical role in strengthening execution across the organization, bringing together service delivery, operations, and strategic planning to support large-scale healthcare programs. His leadership has been instrumental in building robust processes, enhancing service quality, and enabling Cyrix to scale consistently across hospitals and healthcare systems.
With extensive experience spanning medical equipment service delivery, application support, technical sales, and operations, Pratheesh brings a well-rounded understanding of the healthcare technology ecosystem. Prior to joining Cyrix, he held multiple roles with a leading channel partner of Wipro GE Healthcare, where he developed deep domain expertise across both technical and customer-facing functions.
At Cyrix, he has contributed significantly to evolving the organization into a multi-OEM, multi-technology platform, supporting diverse healthcare environments and ensuring high levels of uptime and reliability across medical equipment.
Pratheesh holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering and is currently pursuing a Global Master Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, further strengthening his expertise in large-scale operations and supply chain systems.
