Job Responsibilities
Technical & Service
Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance and breakdown repair of medical equipment.
Diagnose complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure equipment uptime, safety compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Maintain service reports, PM checklists, breakdown logs, and inventory records.
Monitor performance of critical equipment such as monitors, defibrillators, OT/ICU equipment, etc.
Team Leadership & Training
Guide, support and supervise junior Biomedical Engineers.
Conduct on-site technical training for team members and hospital staff.
Ensure timely task allocation and compliance with SOPs.
Client & Coordination
Coordinate with hospital administration for service schedules and improvement needs.
Maintain professional communication with OEM vendors for parts, escalations, and support.
Resolve client issues promptly to maintain strong customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all equipment meets NABH, ISO, and safety guidelines.
Follow company policies for documentation, reporting, and audits.
Support management with regular service analytics and performance updates.
🎓 Qualification
Diploma / B.Tech in Biomedical / Electronics / Instrumentation.
Strong understanding of medical equipment technology and standards.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and field service activities.
