We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Specialist Engineer – Cath Lab to take ownership of the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support of Cath Lab systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cath Lab equipment, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to independently handle critical technical issues at customer sites. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high standards of service quality and equipment uptime.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

• Install, commission, maintain, and service Cath Lab systems.

• Assist with system integrations (e.g., PACS, EMR).

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.

• Respond to critical breakdowns and troubleshoot problems in real time to minimize equipment downtime.

• Guide, mentor, and provide technical support to junior service engineers.

• Support the Service Manager in handling complex technical escalations.

• Ensure compliance with safety and service standards.

• Travel across locations as required for installation and service support.
 

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL:

• Diploma/ BE/ B-Tech in Biomedical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 8–9 years of relevant experience in Cath Lab service and maintenance.

• Strong hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of Cath Lab systems.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting imaging systems and networked medical devices.

• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, biomedical, and imaging technologies.

• Familiarity with Cath Lab systems from leading vendors such as GE, Siemens, Philips, or other major OEMs.

 

MANDATORY JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Strong troubleshooting skills in biomedical and medical imaging equipment.

• Cath Lab / Multimodality equipment knowledge.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Adaptability to different technologies and work environments.

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and computer applications.

• Basic understanding of service data management and documentation.

• Strong ownership and accountability.

• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
