Cyrix Healthcare today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the MedTech Solutions business of Blue Star Engineering & Electronics Ltd. (Blue Star E&E), effective September 1, 2026. The acquisition strengthens Cyrix's capabilities in medical imaging, equipment sales, installation, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and lifecycle management.
The acquisition brings together Blue Star E&E's established MedTech Solutions business, experienced professionals, customer relationships and deep expertise in multi-brand CT and MRI with Cyrix Healthcare's growing Total MedTech Management platform.
All existing Blue Star E&E MedTech Solutions customers will continue to be supported by the same experienced teams, now as part of Cyrix Healthcare, ensuring continuity of service. The transaction has been completed with immediate effect. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Blue Star E&E's MedTech Solutions team brings extensive experience across CT and MRI, covering sales, clinical applications, installation, maintenance, repairs and equipment management. The team has experience across more than 250 CT and MRI installations, together with established customer relationships and imaging expertise across India.
The addition strengthens Cyrix's capabilities across the medical imaging lifecycle—from equipment sales and clinical applications to installation, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment.
Blue Star E&E's refurbishment capabilities will further strengthen AURUM, Cyrix's refurbished medical equipment business, particularly in refurbished CT and MRI systems. The combined platform will also provide stronger access to refurbished equipment, spare parts and accessories, supported by Cyrix's warehouse and service network across India.
Cyrix Healthcare has built its business around Total MedTech Management, helping healthcare providers manage medical technologies across their complete lifecycle through a single accountable partner.
